What is HeyDears?
HeyDears is a free, independent website with simple tools and articles for everyday celebrations: writing greeting-card messages, finding gift ideas by recipient and budget, and keeping track of birthdays, anniversaries and other important dates.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no registration, login or subscription. All tools work directly in your browser.
Does anything cost money?
No. The site is free to use and is supported by advertising. We do not sell products, take payments or process orders.
Where is the information I enter stored?
The Message Builder and Important Dates tools save your entries in your own browser (local storage) so they are still there next time you visit on the same device. Clearing your browser data removes them. We do not receive that data.
Do you send reminders by email or text?
No. The Important Dates tool is a personal list shown in your browser; it does not send notifications. Check it when planning ahead, or copy dates into your own calendar.
Are the gift suggestions sponsored?
No. Gift ideas are general suggestions written to spark ideas. Any shop or brand names are examples only, prices are rough ranges, and we are not affiliated with or paid by the retailers mentioned.
Can I use the card messages I find here?
Yes. Messages produced by the Message Builder or listed on the site are free to copy, adapt and use in your own cards and notes.
Who writes the articles?
Articles are written and edited for this site to give practical, general guidance on cards, messages and gifting. They are not professional advice; see our Disclaimer.
How do I get in touch?
